| Pound Hill Software Generates MetaGrove Dialog for IPTC IIM for XMP

| Pound Hill Software, a leading developer of metadata software tools, has generated a MetaGrove dialog for IPTC IIM for XMP. MetaGrove is a software suite of products that provides custom XMP metadata capabilities to users of Adobe Creative Suite CS2 and CS3.
| IPTC IIM for XMP
| IPTC-NAA Information Interchange Model (IIM) standard (cira 1991) is focused on metadata for multi-media news items in the newspaper publishing industry.
Basically, the IPTC IIM for XMP schema is comprised of the IPTC-NAA IIM datasets (properties) that are already represented in IPTC Core properties (20 out of IPTC Core's 30) and
31 additional IPTC-NAA IIM datasets that are represented as XMP properties in the new Iptc4xmpIIM namespace.
The remaining 21 IPTC-NAA IIM datasets are not represented in the IPTC IIM for XMP schema.

| Details
| The MetaGrove IPTC IIM for XMP schema and dialog is compliant with released specification dated July 16, 2008. The one exception is the property 2:118 Contact. It is implemented as a single Text field instead of the structured property, Creator Contact Info.
The dialog displays additional read-only fields for reference: a) EXIF Date Time Original and Date Time Digitized as suggested by the IPTC IIM for XMP specification and b) photoshop:Urgency, photoshop:Category, photoshop:SupplementalCategories, xmp:CreateDate whose content may be unoffically mapped from IPTC-NAA IIM metadata.
