A typical evaluation consists of two stages:
First, the MetaGrove Developer application, Windows or Mac, that a metadata specialist uses to create a custom MetaGrove dialog,
no programming required.
A MetaGrove dialog file (.mcr) contains XMP schema definitions, vocabularies and panel layouts.
Reference XMP schemas, vocabularies and dialogs are provided for published XMP schemas.
These provide a convienent starting point for your custom schema and dialog.
Second, a MetaGrove Plug-in presents the dialog file as a series of menus for editing a file's XMP metadata.
It is the Plug-in that actually manipulates XMP metadata.
A selection of the Creative Suite bundles (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign) are provided for CS3 or CS2, Windows or Mac for automated download.
The trial registration serial number works for any combination of the component point products.
Trial evaluations for InCopy are available via e-mail request.

number will be sent to you in via e-mail.

Please note that MetaGrove dialog files (.mcr) are very different, and considerably more complex, than Adobe File Info custom panel files (.txt, and in CS4 .xml).
So, although MetaGrove File Info and Adobe File Info are fully interoperable in terms of the XMP payload they manipulate and display to the user,
their dialog (panel) definitions are not interchangeable.
Pound Hill no longer offers any tools for building File Info custom panels.
